  • Cant get my text or lower thirds to show up on export?

Posted by Don Cobble on January 5, 2019 at 11:07 pm

I have made some lower thirds in DR 15 Studio and none of them show on my export page preview screen. They show on timeline but not on the screen? I know it is something probably simple I have missed, but I cant find it. Any Ideas please? I am on PC 1
    Thank You

Resolve doesn’t always play nicely with the generators in the delivery page. Depending on your delivery settings, (individual clips vs 1 clip) and the position of those items (at the head of the timeline vs middle of the timeline) you may find instances where the items can’t be included in the selection for output.

If it is keyable text on a secondary track, then it should come along for the ride on a “single clip” output, but again i don’t think it will show up on an individual clip delivery.

If you drop each of those into a compoud clip, they will now show up.

As a rule, when i create bars or black filler from within resolve, it immediatedly goes into a compound clip.
I don’t do a lot of titling in resolve, but i know head slates used to be an issue, so again, straight into a compound clip.
