Can’t get echo effect from animated stroke tutorial working
Hey guys, i’m working on a logo animation based on Dean Velez’s tutorial (https://www.creativecow.net/articles/velez_dean/glowing_stroke/index.html) and i’m having some issues getting the echo filter working correctly. I’ve downloaded the example file and my settings are EXACTLY the same to the best of my knowledge, I have two images showing the prob.

I’ve been playing with this for a while and have gotten nowhere, any ideas? thanks.

Figured it out with some help from a few people, even though I didn’t specifically see it in the tutorial your Mask Shape needs to be animated in order to see the echo affect the width of the stroke, simply animating the start and end points doesn’t do it.
