So I’m working with the rotobrush tool, and I can’t for the life of me get defined edges, going around things like hair or facial features. I try to add brush strokes to get it more defined and rotobrush is like “Nope, I’ve decided this edge should be smooth and cut off this guy’s nose.” I don’t know what feature I may have added which is causing this (didn’t realize it was a problem until I had finished tweaking everything else), or what I need to add– I’m going through trying everything that looks like it might be relevant, and I’m poring over guides and manuals, but I can’t seem to get it.

For what it’s worth, the “smooth” function is set to 0 and, I don’t know if it matters, but I turned “feather” up to 30 (but changing feature values doesn’t seem to affect it).

    Any ideas?
