Can’t get certain transitions to work
I’m having some trouble with Dither Dissolve, Ripple Dissolve, Page Peel and Push Slide. If I drop any of the first three onto a cut, FCP just shows me black – even if I render. Can’t get them to work at all. Push Slide does the same thing if you use the value 270 for angle, but 269 or 271 will work.
I don’t usually do effects in FCP; am I missing something really basic?

If you apply them to only one clip, like a filter, no, they won't give you results that you expect. bogiesan This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
