December 29, 2010 at 10:34 amHi,
I read the thread & I have downloaded your sample and I was wondering if you could link us to these updates of Sony Vegas (that you have performed)? And maybe you can upload your 32bit .dll version that fixed this “problem” you were having?
I can try it out and return some feedback.
I’m glad you made it work at your side.
Thanks in advance,

Let me know where.
There’s contact information in my profile, and you can also contact me through my website, so just let me know where to send it.

October 17, 2011 at 11:21 amWell i followed all the proposed aviplug.dll replaces and didn’t work for me.
But i found the solution in youtube (yeah i know how this sounds but believe me, it’s the only one that worked on me)
Here’s my setup
intel core i7 2600k 3.4ghz quad core
8gb ram
windows 7 x64here’s the solution:
1.uninstall every codec pack you have on the pc, i mean EVERY. with revo uninstaller free https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html so that it also removes any leftovers)2. download and install ccleaner free and clean your pc and registry
https://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/download/8d74e9f2d23827db70cde78abd199236/3. restart
4. download and install the mjpeg codec and xvid codec original packs as they’re attached in my post.

6.start vegas
7. thank me 🙂
cheers

May 13, 2012 at 2:23 amThat’s really bad advice. I have been using codec packs for YEARS without problems. Just because you have some bad experiences with codecs doesn’t mean it’s OK to assume that that’s the source of someone’s problem especially when it’s clearly not the codec packs causing his problem.
1.) He had this problem before installing the codec packs.
2.) He solved the problem by replacing .dll files. If the problem was the codec packs it wouldn’t have existed before the installation of a codec pack, and it wouldn’t have been solved by swapping .dll files.
