    Can’t find deck with MXO2 mini attached

    Is this a common issue? If the mini is on when I start MC5 it wont find my deck when I try to capture footage. When I disconnect the mini and reboot I can capture without a problem. I know the card is for viewing only but I didn’t think it would prevent me from capturing. I would like to ask if anyone else is having this problem or am I doing something wrong.

    Bob,

    From the most recent Composer ReadMe:

    Avid does not recommend that you connect the Matrox MX02 Mini device and an Avid
    supported hardware device (for example, a Nitris DX, Mojo DX, Adrenaline) to the CPU at
    the same time. If you do connect them at the same time, only the Avid hardware will be
    recognized. The Matrox MX02 will only be recognized when the Avid hardware is
    disconnected or turned off.

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for responding. I capture with a Sony HDV M1OU but I guess the same rules apply. Just kind of a pain having to reboot to capture.
