    Can’t find a compression to burn DVD on iDVD without the shadows having jittery noise

    Hi,

    I’ve tried virtually every compression technique I can think of to get this video to burn a DVD that looks good, but the video has a lot of blacks and shadows, and when its burn into a DVD the shadows and blacks get all jittery, and makes it unusable to send to a client.

    Any ideas? I’ve tried around 15 different renders.. the video itself looks great, even when I do the DVD preview, but once it turns into a DVD, I get the jittery background in the shadows, which I can’t get rid of..

    I’m using iDVD and don’t have another DVD authoring program..

    Help?

    Is iDVD doing another round of compression on your video when it imports it?
