Can’t export stereo audio. How to change audio master?
I have this problem. When I try to export my finished premiere pro project with stereo sound, I get this message:
“The source and output channels are not compatible or a conversion does not exist”
I know why I have this problem. For some reason I accidentally started the project with the setting: Audio master: 16 channels.
So when I try to export stereo it doesn’t work. I don’t understand why mono works though.
However, is there any way to change the audio master after I’ve started the project? I read on adobes help page about output mapping but I saw nothing that could solve my problem.
I have also tried to make a new project with the right settings, and then import the old one. But the audio master changes automaticly to 16 channels.

I can’t get to my computer to test, but try making a new sequence with a stereo master and then drop the sequence with your project into the new one?

Great idea but I didn’t get it to work. It wouldn’t drop on to the timeline.

you can always copy and paste into the new timeline…
