Can’t export project in 16:9
Help!
I’m working on my first HD project in FCP 5.1 after editing in SD for several years. I can’t get the project to export in 16:9 ratio.
I’m not using any video footage, all files are images, text and some QT animations all of which are in 16:9.
My FCP sequence settings are:
Frame Size:” 1280 X 720″ Aspect Ratio: “HDTV 720p (16:9)”
Pixel Aspect Ratio: HD (960X720)” “Anamorphic 16:9” is unchecked
QuickTime Video Settings: Compressor: “DVCPRO HD 720p60”.
Are there any issues with these setting? Are there other settings I need to check?Thanks in advance for your help.

I go with:
Frame Size: 960X720
Pixel Aspect: HD (960X720)(16:9)
Anamorphic: Unchecked
Compressor: DVCPro HD 720p60Rob Grauert, Jr.

I’m viewing the QT movie file, which is 1280 X 720, on my computer monitor which has a resolution setting of 1680 X 1050. I’m playing it with Quick Time 7.6.4
The completed project will be uploaded for broadcast TV in what ever file type they require.

It looks like I stumbled upon the problem…
It seems that in FCP if you change settings they don’t take effect until you create a new project. When I did that everything went to 16:9.
