Have come across a very weird bug. Can’t export any sort of graphic file. Can do QT’s, AAF, but no format of graphic. Running Monterey 12.6.3 and Avid 2022.10.0 on a Mac Studio. I was previously able to do this so not sure what’s changed. All the usual troubleshooting has failed to fix this. Anyone else come across this before? Thanks!

If the issue is isolated to Avid, you could try the following troubleshooting steps:

1.Check if there are any updates available for Avid and update the software if necessary.
2.Check if there are any plugins or third-party software installed in Avid that could be causing the issue. You could try disabling any plugins and see if the issue persists.
3.Check if the export settings for the graphic files are correct. Make sure that the export format is compatible with your system and that the export settings are configured correctly.
4.Try exporting the graphic files to a different location on your system or an external hard drive to see if the issue is related to the destination folder.
5.If none of the above troubleshooting steps work, you could try reinstalling Avid to see if it resolves the issue.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    1. Check the file format: Make sure that the file format you’re trying to export is supported by your version of Avid. You can find a list of supported file formats in the Avid documentation.

    2. Check the export settings: Double-check your export settings to make sure they’re correct. Make sure that you’re exporting to the correct file format and that the settings match the requirements of the platform you’re exporting to.

    3. Check the destination folder: Make sure that the destination folder you’re exporting to has the necessary permissions and enough space to store the exported files.

    4. Update Avid: Check if there is a new version of Avid available and update it if necessary. This may resolve any compatibility issues with Monterey 12.6.3.

    5. Check for conflicting software: Check if there are any other software applications that could be conflicting with Avid. Try closing all other applications and see if the problem persists.

    6. Contact Avid support: If none of these solutions work, it may be worth contacting Avid support directly for assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps or be able to provide further insight into the issue.

    7. I hope one of these suggestions helps you resolve the issue with exporting graphic files on your Mac Studio.

If you’re experiencing issues with exporting graphic files in Avid Media Composer, despite being able to export other formats, it could be related to a specific configuration or compatibility issue. Here are a few suggestions to help resolve the problem:<div>
</div><div>Double-check your export settings: Ensure that you have selected the correct format and codec for the graphic file you’re trying to export. Verify that the export settings match the requirements of the intended use or destination.</div><div>
</div><div>Update Avid Media Composer: Check for any available updates or patches for Avid Media Composer. Sometimes, software updates address specific bugs or compatibility issues that could be causing the problem.</div><div>
</div><div>Check file permissions: Make sure you have the necessary permissions to export files to your desired location. Verify that the destination folder allows read and write access.</div><div>
</div><div>Test with different graphic formats: Attempt to export graphic files in various formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG, TIFF) to determine if the issue is specific to one format or affects all graphic exports.</div><div>
</div><div>Reset Avid settings: Try resetting Avid Media Composer to its default settings. This can be done by renaming the “Avid” folder in the following directory: “Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Avid.” Launch Avid again to create a new “Avid” folder with default settings.</div><div>
</div><div>If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be helpful to reach out to Avid support for further assistance or check Avid user forums or communities to see if other users have encountered similar problems and found solutions.</div>
