can’t export after affects cs3 position data to pi 3.0
I am a new user to AE CS3 and particle illusion. I purchased Aharon’s DVD about integrating pi 3 with AE. I tried to export the position data from a simple test project in AE CS3 to PI. When I try to import the data in pi 3.0 I get a “no valid clipboard data” error. Can any of you help me solve this? The copy and paste function within AE CS3 works fine when I try it copying the position keyframes to different layers

There’s a workaround discussed in this tutorial. Version 3.02 will take care of this without the extra step the tutorial mentions.

Thank you very much for the link to the tutorial. Do you know when the updated version of PI will be released that will take care of this problem?

Might be late this week, but probably next week. There are some OpenGL issues that some of the beta testers are having and we’re trying to figure out if they are driver-related or if they’re our fault. =)
