Can’t enter my serial number anywhere?
Hey everybody!
So i uninstalled Sony Vegas, then when trying to reinstall, realized I lost my serial number, sadly. But I contacted Sony and faxed them my reciept and they sent me a new serial number. I opened up Sony Vegas from where I had reinstalled, and a box popped up saying my trial had expired. My only two options were ‘Buy Now’ or ‘Close’. If I click buy now, it’s offering me a totally different version than what I have. I don’t know how to enter my new serial number. I’ve installed and reinstalled it a few times today with no luck. Any idea what’s going on? Where do I enter my number?

You didn’t tell us what version you have. I would suggest that you uninstall whatever is on your PC now, and download the latest version of whatever you bought from the Software Updates page. These are not trial versions and will immediately prompt you for your serial number when first run.
