  • Cant delete files from final cut projects because they are locked.

I am currently trying to clean up our server that we use in our office for our final cut projects. Our server is SANmp with multiple drives. I drag projects that we have decided to get rid of into the trash and when i try to delete them it wont let me because they are locked. I try to change the SANmp setting to Read/Write but it doesn’t help and all it does is put more projects into the trash that i never put in the trash. Then i select individual files and try to unlock them or change them to read/write status as well but nothing is working. How i can force these files to delete from our server? We are running on MAC G5’s with Final Cut Pro/Studio 2: Version 6.4.

Hold option then empty the trash.
