Cant create multiple favorites on a multicam event
I’m trying to add multiple favorites to a multicam event but it’s only allowing me to create one favorite. I add new in and out points that don’t overlap in any way but it still keeps overriding the one existing favorite. I’ve read so many threads and I can’t find an answer. Pulling my hair out over here! Is it because it’s a multicam event?

I do not think I understand your question. My issue concerning the fact of trying to make a Multicam clip with Favorite rated chunks of one long clip is the following one:
Say Camera “A” records a three minute clip of a general shot of a dance.
Say Camera “B” records, simultaneously, a three minute clip of close-ups of the same dance.
Step one:
In the browser, I choose which are the good moments of all those close-ups in Camera “B” (angle “B”) by rating them as “Favorite”.
Step two:
Now, I ONLY want to sync the Favorite rated chunks (Angle “B”) with the Camera “A” shot (Angle “A”, long static general shot) .
Final Cut (10.5.4) does not let me do a Multicam clip by ONLY considering the Favorite rated chunks of the clip. Instead, Final Cut ONLY lets me make the Multicam with WHOLE clips.
Does anyone know if it is possible to make FCP to make a Multicam clip ONLY by syncing Favorite rated chunks (all assigned as Angle “x”, for instance) with another clip (Angle y) or other Favorite rated chunks (assigned as Angle y)?

I just tested and it all works on macOS 12.6 and FCP 10.6.4 and it works just as y’all want it to.
I can make multicam clips from multiple Favorites ranges on clips, select them and make a multcam clip out of only the Fav ranges.
I can create mutliple Favorite ranges on one multicam clip, then Cmd-E and they’re all in the Timeline.
