Can’t convert MT2S to WMV, No template support
When I play my MT2S file in Vegas 8 Pro, I can hear the audio, but there is no video. I’m trying to convert the MT2S to WMV, but I get “There is no Template available for this format. The selected media may not be supported. Try again?” In the description under Save As Type, it also says there is no exisiting templates support this media.
I can take the same file and convert it to WMV in TMPGenc Xpress, but it doesn’t keep the 5.1 surround. I’m told Vegas can, yet I can’t get it to render to the WMV format, and I’m not sure about the issue with the video not playing only audio in the preview. I can play the MT2S file in Windows Media Player with no problems.
BTW, this is a ripped Blu Ray MT2S that has been mux’d in Tsmuxer, if that helps or changes anything.

Yea… well… Vegas has never been very good at ripped movies and this is intentional. You’ll need to find another tool for this activity.
