can’t connect to HD TV
Hi folks,
I bought a T2i/550d in the US last month and am now trying to connect it to my 1080p Samsung tv via the mini hdmi output. It just won’t work, on any tv that I have tried. I’ve tried monitors too. I bought a cheap cable on ebay and it definitely works – or at least it works for point and shoot cameras. Should I buy the official canon htc-100 cable? will this work? Please help.

Buy the best you can afford with a warranty, anything from $50 to $100, if it does not work take it back . We use a $50-$100 Belkin for connection from a Canon HV20 to a Sony bravia Full HD 1920 x 1080i the imagary is better (much) than the cheap $25 ones?
