Is it possible to change our login/user name?

When I joined the COW I posted under the name “promoboy” because I cut promos and it was my nickname at work. A while ago (before the interface overhaul–love it, by the way) I changed my username to “MHancock (promoboy)” with the intention of dropping the “promoboy” altogether. Now, when I go to my account settings, the option to change my login/username is no longer there.

So, is it possible to change usernames? I don’t cut promos (or work at the company that gave me the nickname) anymore and would prefer to post under just MHancock, or even my full name. I’d love to know if it’s possible. Thanks COW TEAM!

    Michael.

I’ve changed it for you. Your user name is now: MHancock. Your email is the same. You’ll need to set the cookies for the new name, but it should be working.

I am a one man band producer, writer, editor, photographer
type. At the end of a production I provide my clients with
a dvd of their job. I am finding that the dvd recorder I
use is somewhat unreliable (it’s about 4 years old). Often
times my clients will complain about stutters or glitches in
the video and audio when they take the disc and play it. Does
anyone know of a good, solid reliable dvd recorder I could buy? I realize I will have to spend more to get a more
“professional” recorder….. I just really need something
    better and newer.
