I have two computers with Intensity Pro capture cards in them. I have successfully used these cards for quite a few years to webcast with Wirecast.

But now, neither one will detect video from the camera. I have tried 4 different cameras (2 Sony camcorders, a Canon camcorder, and a JVC GY-HM250SP). It’s not a cable problem, because each brand requires a different HDMI end. I have tried capturing in Wirecast and MediaExpress and get absolutely nothing.

I also have a Magewell USB 3 dongle capture device. This DOES capture video in Wirecast when using the JVC and Canon, but the Sonys don’t work with this device either.

The two computers are a Wirecast Gear 110 and a homebrew that I use as my main computer. I had used my main computer about 2 weeks ago, and everything was working fine. Then I was out of town for two weeks, and when the school needed to webcast a concert when I wasn’t there, it wasn’t working anymore. (The person who was to do the stream is knowledgeable–I don’t think she did anything that would have messed things up.

So–any suggestions on what might be happening? The fact that the USB device works with 2 cameras, but not 2 others seems to indicate that is might not necessarily be a Black Magic problem — but I’ve been trying to figure this out and have been completely stymied.

(Both Media Express and Wirecast show that the Intensity Pro is detected)
