I am trying to capture JVC HD100 720p30 scenes on PP2 trial install. I have added the HD100 preset from the Adobe wesite. I carefully placed the files in the requested folders on C: and have checked them again.

In capture/settings/edit I get the choice of Adobe HD-SDI Capture or DV Capture. Neither will capture for the HD100.

PP2 will control the camera transport in Capture, in a project that was setup with the HD100 preset, but all recording is locked out.

How do I get there from here?

You don’t. Sorry. Adobe pays for the MPEG license on each copy, so they don’t provide it on the free trials.

If you want to capture HDV, you need to purchase the product.

Simple explaination. Thanks. Tough to evaluate though.

Off to download Cineform trial. Hopfully that can give me a test.

Sorry for the double post. Message “Can’t post without logging on”, even though I was logged on. So I quit, came back, changed profile, retyped the post and Presto! two posts. Rats!
