  cant capture from XH-A1 to final cut 5.1.4

  Ive been using my xh-a1 for a couple of months now using FC 5.0 and 5.1 with no problems. I just updated to 5.1.4 and cannot capture footage. I get a warning “unable to initialize capture device” and the window says no communication.

  Tried all the obvious, changing presets, unlpugging cables, camera menus, etc. I am running FC 5.1.4, OS 10.4.10, quicktime 7.2, shot the footage in 1080i.

  Anyone have any words of advice, painfully obvious or minutely techie???
