Cant burn to disc
Newbie here – In vegas pro I have made my movie, but cant seem to burn correctly on disc (I think).
I have a Sony DCR SR42 – (not high def). Plus, a Sony DVD recorder. I am using DVD-RW discs. Somewhere in there may be the problem, but these discs are what I normally use in the Sony harddrive unit. I render as MPEG-2 / DVD architect NTSC video stream. I burn it on the disc using the default settings in DVD architect, it burns, (I tested first, no errors) pop it in the Sony unit and it can not read the disc. Can you use these DVD-RW discs to burn projects?Second problem, 1 gig memory forces me to split the movie into four strips, (otherwise, crash city) I was going to put them toghther using the dub feature on the hardrive recorder, do you see another way?

Hi dude.. I have the same problem. I’m having problem with DVD architect 1.. When I click on burn Disk, it finishes burning without any errors, but when I try to play it on any Disk player it doesn’t play it..
Sometimes, however, I get error while burning..!
If you guys have any suggestions let me know…

There are MANY factors that can come into play here. First is the media itself. There are many different qualities of media. Stick with high quality media!
Second is the player itself. Some players play burned discs better than others.
Third, DVD Architect 1 is over 5 years old. You might try upgrading to a newer version (current is 4.5 with 5.0 coming out soon).
Fourth, you might try PREPARING in DVD Architect and then BURNING with some other program such as Nero or Record Now and see if that makes any difference.
