can’t burn dvd
Vegas movie studio platinum. I create a movie, edit it to 4 parts, join the parts by select/G. delete edit history, go to tools burn disk, read size 2.97 gigs, and press burn disk. All appears normal except the process takes less than one minuet and I only get a video of a few seconds duration. I even get a successful burn message, but only a few seconds of film is recorded. Please tell me I’m making a simple mistake and this is not NSA mischief.

My guess is that you have a small portion of your timeline highlighted, creating a loop region, and also have “Render loop region only” selected in the render options window.

As usual I got a polite and technically competent reply, unfortunately that wasn’t the answer. When I turned on this morning the computer refused to start and went into restore mode. When it finally restarted I tried again and now it seems to be working correctly. thanks again.
