Can’t boot no matter what!
Hi. Hope this is okay to post here because I don’t know if this is software of hardware.
My old faithful dual 800 G4 original Quicksilver running 10.3.8 started acting funny the other day playing a DVD-rom. Then it froze, then a bunch of unix text came on screen. See below. I tried booting from OS CD, also tried option, tried with target drive – nada.
When the machine has come up it works for a while and them wham-o, dead in the water with all this text on screen. Here it is.System Failure: cpu=0; code=00000008 (Unknown failure code)
