I have a 3D comp that I am having problems with. It is a bar graph.

The bars are pre-comps of solids arranged in 3D space. When I import them into my master 3D comp, everything works well:

However, if I apply any effects to the Bar pre-comps the motion gets weird. Here all I did is apply the filter “tint”:

Can someone tell me why this is happening, and how I can avoid it?

    Thanks.

I was just using the tint as an example. It happens with any effect applied to the pre-comp.

I tried turning off openGL and cleaning the cashes, but that did not work.

Apply the tints to Adjustment layers within the pre-comp. Sorry, no idea why that’s happening.
