Can’t ama link Sony A7s films with Media Composer 8.3.1
Hello all,
I am having trouble ingesting some interview rushes into my MC softeware that I am running on a mac tower (Yosemite)
It was shot on a Sony A7s as XAVCs mp4 files, they are in a folder on a Porche external hard drive, usb 2.0I am trying to ama link them but the files come up as ‘wrong format’
I am not very technical so any help would be very much appreciated.

None of the AMA plugins that come free with Avid work…Sony didn’t make one for that camera. SO you need to use this plugin, and it’s a paid one.

Thanks for the Post’s guys, v helpful as always.
Can I double check with you that the one I need is : MediaReactor Single Avid – 99.00 US (Windows or OS-X)Seems right, but a bit pricey for a single plug in.
