Hi I am a new user to Encore, so this is probably a stupid question: So far I have used Premiere for my mpeg encoding. Now that I have imported both the audio (wav) and video (M2v) files into Encore I want them to play together. However I can’t add an audio track to the timeline I created for the video. The timeline pull down menu has this option greyed out. What am I doing wrong?

What version of Encore do you have?

Make sure you have the Timeline window active when you try to choose from the Timeline menu.

Also, by default your timeline should already have an audio track in it, so you can just drag your audio file down into it.

    Thanks for that.

As I thought, it was my own stupid fault. I only had the timeline library open, not the actual timeline itself. D’oh!
