If i try to add my ae plugins to FCP in library/application support/fcp, my machine spits the dummy.
Are there some it doesn’t like. I’m trying to use ‘posterise time’

Is there another easy way of doing this in FCP? or a way of making the plugins work?

    Cheers

    oh yeah

Tiger 10.4.2. dual 2ghz G5, decklink extreme fcp 5.02, bigdisk extreme, etc . etc.

A FEW After Effects plugins work with FCP.

    Most don’t

Best to export the footage to AE for effecting, if you want the plugins. Automatic Duck does this nicely…as separate clips I hear…

I’m pretty sure that’s a native Adobe AE plug-in. Any Adobe supplied plug-ins do not work in FCP and with the advent of FCP 5, not many third party plug-ins work any longer either. You’ll need to purchase FCP versions of the plug-ins.
