Can’t Access “Secret” Preference Pane
Earlier today I made some settings changes to AE’s Secret preferences (holding shift key through selecting prefs), but now when I got to access again to make some adjustments, it doesn’t display for me. I’ve restarted AE to no avail. Any ideas? I’m running CS4 and set it to purge frames at a particular interval (don’t remember what).

For me, the secret menu doesn’t appear until I select Prefs, then select one of the Prefs (General, Preview, Display, etc.) It is not one of the items in the first Prefs dropdown.
I am on a PC running Vista and AE CS4.

It’s very strange…I have been able to find it again, but it’s VERY intermittent. If it shows once and I cancel out and try it again, it won’t show. I try it a few more times and it shows again. I can’t discern a pattern.
This really is a secret preference.
