Canopus300 and Final Cut Pro 6

I would actually love to figure this out and I’m glad that I found a band-aid in the mean time, but I’ve tried everything I can think of. Any other advice?

I might offer one suggestion as I’m not sure you did this, but, make sure all your devices are hooked up and powered on before you open FCP. I’ve discovered in the past the Final Cut won’t see my camera if I plug it in while the app is already running.

Already done that. I can get the video to play when I click on log and capture, it just won’t let me click on “Capture Now”.
