Canopus ADVC-50 and Pro 1.5
A few months ago I posted about my Pro 1.5 not recognizing my DVX-100A and PV-250 during the Pro 1.5 capture. I ended up sending my Intel D915PBL back to Intel. I got my motherboard back and the problem persisted.
The strange thing is that all other capture software I have namely: Panasonic MotionDV, Windows Movie Maker, Nero and Roxio recognized my card.
I even borrowed two different brand of firewire cards. No dice.
To make matter worse, my DV Rack does not recognized the two camcorder either. I was getting ready to buy another motherboard.
So yesterday, I uninstalled the Canopus ADVC-50 after reading one of Tim’s post about his Canopus card not recognized by his XP.
By George, after uninstalling my Canopus card, my Pro 1.5 and DV Rack instantly recognize my two camcorders. I did some testing all day to make sure.
