Canon’s pseudo 24fps
Canon’s camcorders of a few generations ago offered what it alleged to be 24 fps progressive which turned out in fact to be a hybrid of 24P and 29.97.
Can someone take me through the settings from Premiere sequence to Media Encoder to Encore. The end result should ideally be 1920X1080, whether 23.976 fps, 24 fps or 29.97. Please note for each setting if it is interlaced or progressive.ndfrizzle

Almost guaranteed to be recorded as 1080i. Just capture the footage via 1394, then drag a clip onto the “New Item” button at lower right of Project window and Premiere will create a proper Sequence for the footage.
