Canon ZR 600 to FCP
I have a Canon ZR 600 NTSC that I’m trying to capture from via firewire. FCP isn’t recognizing it and I have searched the forums and tried many of the tricks with no success. I noticed on apples website this camera wasn’t on the list of compatible .. Does that meen I’. out of luck with this camera? Any ideas

In Log and Capture mode can you see your footage? If so try capture now and pressing play at the beginning of the footage and stop it when you’ve fully caught your clips. I’ve also had cameras that wouldn’t recognize in FCP but could capture in Imovie.

It seems that that camera records DV AVI files.
Try with an USB cable.
