  Canon XH-A1s to Atomos Ninja

  Hi All,

  I read somewhere on here that someone was able to use the Canon XH-A1 cameras with their Component out cable (from the D connector) and get an uncompressed 1920×1080 frame, and they were recording this to a Ninja!

  So, I have the camera, the cable, and wanted to know what is a good/best box that will take my composite signal and give me a clean HDMI output for the Ninja? or better yet, is there one that would give me SDI as well, since I also have a samurai?

  I just don’t want to throw money at this for no better increase in signal, but I wanted to know what works?

  This is a stop gap until I get the HF300s
