  Canon XH-A1:hype or a terrific camcorder?

  Looking to upgrade soon from the GL-2 which I’ve had for a long time

  I’d appreciate any insight,tips,practical advice & personal experience any of you pros can give or are willing to share with a novice user who is very willing to learn and get up to speed.
