canon XH A1
I am trying to find out if there is a way to program the canon XH A1 to shoot 5 sec of footage every 30 min without having to stand there hit record stop I want to film a building going up and to speed up the footage like on Build It Bigger. any suggestions on how to achieve this would be helpful.

I am not (yet) familiar with the most current edition of OnLocation, though my CS3 has time-lapse as part of its feature set. If you can install the camera long-term someplace, can you then also install a computer with OnLocation and program it to do just that?
