  Canon XF Utilities will not install

  I have a brand new Mac Book Pro with OS X.9.2. The Canon XF Utilities for Mac OS X and for Final Cut will not install. I dbl click the installer icon, I get the “extracting files” message, and then nothing. I’ve tried re-downloading the software from Canon site. Same thing happens. Any suggestions?
