    Hello All;
    I am wanting a Panasonic AG-AC160 though I have to wait until next September for that :-(.

    In the meantime, I need to pick up a Pro HD camcorder for some immediate work and also when I need a smaller unit. Am looking at Canon’s line of recently introduced pro camcorders, The XA10 and XF100. Have a few questions …

    1. One uses SDXC cards, the other CF cards. Do the more expensive CF cards provide better performance than SDXC cards ? It seems that Canon advertises 50 MB/S for the XF100 and about 25 MB/S for the XA10. Does this lead to better video quality ?

    2. My Nikon camera also uses CF cards and one thing I always worried about is whether the pins in my camera/camcorder will ever get bent though this hasn’t happened yet with the camera. It looks like that could easily happen, though. Is this a problem and if so, how much of a problem ?

    3. How does the lack of 3 CCD’s on the XF100 affect video quality as compared to a pro camera in this same price range that has them ?

    Tim
