Canon Vixia HF20 Firmware
I recently became the owner of a Canon Vixia HF20, while the camera seems pretty decent it struggles with class 10 SD cards. Meaning that it won’t record faster than 12MBPS with anything other than class 4, 6, or its 32GB internal storage.
From my research I learned that a firmware upgrade was needed to fix this issue but Canon of course wiped out all legacy firmware, and it seems the web has been scrubbed of downloads for this specific firmware.
This might be a shot in the dark, but I am wondering if someone here who has this camera or had this camera might still have a firmware update kicking around? Any help would be much appreciated.

Seems you had the older version of this camera than what I have. The one that I have is the Canon VIXIA HF R500 which came out around 2014 and your HF20 is a 2009 model it seems according to this link: https://www.cnet.com/reviews/canon-vixia-hf20-review/
And even my own HF R500, Canon does not have firmwares there and nor is the other one.
Seems finding the firmware software online may pose a challenge since Canon was the one who took down these firmware from the main page.
