Canon Vixia HF100 – jerky video image
I’ve just purchased a Canon Vixia HF100. All appears to be working fine, except that on playing back the HD video on my laptop, it is extremely jerky… not watchable at all. I can convert it to another format such as avi or mov and all is good, except quality is reduced.
I’m wondering if this jerky video is the result of inadequate processing power of my computer?
I’m using a compaq nx7010 with a single processor (Intel Pentium M processor 1700MHz)
Disk Space: 38 GB Available, 111 GB Total, 38 GB Free
Physical Memory 1280 MB Total, 313 MB FreeI’ve tried reducing the recoding resolution on the camera to see if this improves the image, but all it does is create very jagged edges on all images recorded.
The camera does take excellent still images. But I’m concerned about the videos. The reviews of the camera have all been very good, so I’m curious about this particular problem.
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.
