Canon t2i/550d Slow motion with final cut
Hi, I’m editing a video combining 25fps footage and 50fps footage (PAL).
When I edit on a 25fps timeline, the 50fps clips demand rendering and play back choppy (almost like stop-frame footage).
So I converted the 50fps footage in cinema tools to 24fps clips, and they now playback ok, EXCEPT they still need rendering.What is the best workflow for this situation?

It depends,
Did you shoot the 50fps material to have good slow motion?
If yes. Conform to 25 in cinema tools. Not with the original h264, but with ProRes versions.
You cant change it back.
If not. Çonvert to 25fps in compressor. But you will loose half of your frames. Bad for pans and movement.
