  Canon Playback Issues

  Hi Canon folks,
  I’ve got a stack of tapes shot on different days on my XH A1s, but now none are playing back on the camera. They are not even displaying timecode. I’ve already captured several of these, so I know they were playing back fine at some point. Also, if I shoot new footage, the timecode and footage don’t display. Is there some sort of playback setting I’m forgetting that could have been toggled on?

  – All tapes shot in HDV.
  – No down sampling on playback
  – We’ve tried tape doors open and closed, just in case
