  Canon MV890 – problem with audio mode change

  hi there. hope somebody can help me, as the manual couldnt.
  i am trying to import mini dv tapes to avid and in play-mode the bitrate is 12, i would need 16, as i need to import with 48Khz and not just 32. last week i tried (sbdy else is using the camcorder as well) and it worked fine. now that i got it back it is just not working any more.
  i can change the bitrate in Record mode, but not in Play mode for capturing.
  In audio setup, there i should be able to change it, but the only thing i can change is from Stereo 1 to 2 or to 1:1 or to mix. that is all.

  Does anyone know what the problem could be?
  i would need to capture them urgently…
