  Canon lens Stuck in Moviemode (T3i & 24-70 2.8)

  I bought a canon 24-70 2.8 lens for my Canon T3i (600D).

  When i’m in any of the picture modes the zoomring smoothly runs either way.
  When in video mode it jams and will only move with a lot of force, which i was afraid to do.

  Any thoughts on this. Is this a normal thing in video mode?
