  Canon HV30 capture ???

  Just bought Canon Vixia HV 30 and cannot log and capture. Please tell me how this is possible? What settings in FCP 6.0.3 must I use? In Audio/Video settings which Sequence Preset? which Capture Preset, which Device Control Preset?
  I’ve tried various combinations including Apple Intermediate Codec 1080i/60 and it doesnt work.
  Right now all I can do is play the tape and capture now and press escape to stop. I cannot Log and Capture.
  If I can’t do this using this camera I’m really stuck. Help. Thank you.
