Canon HV20 24p – automatic pulldown removal?
Trying to find out if anyone has had success capturing 24p files from the new Canon HV20 and having Vegas automatically recognize/remove pulldown.

Apparently there is a problem with that since the Canon doesn’t include the pull-down information in the HDV stream and therefore Vegas doesn’t remove the pull-down when capturing.
The solution seems to be Cineform HDLink.

Doesn’t seem like this is a Canon-only problem: apparently Vegas can’t remove (automatically or otherwise) the pulldown in Sony V1U 24p HDV files either.
