Canon HV10 as 2nd camera
Am finding reports of the new, small Canon HV10 Single CMOS HDV camera being used as an NLE feeder for those shooting on the Canon XL H1, as it can read the 24F mode. Has anyone out there actually shot any footage with the HV10? In a fairly comprehensive online review, last week, the reviewer chose it’s picture quality over that of the Sony HDR-HC3. The big glaring omission by Canon – no mic input. Camera mic only! Anyone?

It should be noted that the Sony HDR-HC3 does not offer any Mic input jack either.
