  Canon HG10 green video hits

  I copied movie files from a hard drive and Dropbox that were shot on a Canon HG 10. My friend who shot them opened them up on his computer and they played fine. When I copied them onto my Mac they all had green video hits all over the files. Is there a codec I need to download to fix the problem?
