December 6, 2011 at 9:56 pmHi,
Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 is fine for editing H264 MOV files from the EOS 7D. No clue about the T3i though.
What do you exactly mean by “does not cut it”?
Hope this helps,

I just meant it makes very poor vids and everything is jerky.
Vegas 6.
I seen that the Pro lists H264.mov but not the lower cost versions.I’d like to stick with the Vegas if possible but the pro is to expensive for me.Thanks again

December 7, 2011 at 3:33 pmThere’s no need to upgrade to Vegas Pro.
As Frederic said, Movie Studio HD Platinum will handle this format and you can upgrade to it for $65 U.S.
