Canon c300 MXF – Color management
Hi there,
I have to work on some MXF files shoted with Canon C300 on C-Log.
When I import the files on AE CC, under color management I see “Embedded Profile: HDTV Rec 709 YCbCr.
The image doesn´t look Log. It´s like a LUT had been applied to it. I assume it is because of the embedded profile, am I right?What would be the proper way to import and export the files so they can be color corrected in Assimilate Scratch after my work?
Any thought would be appreciated.

You will almost certainly not want to do your effects work in log, so you’d need something like a C-Log to Rec.709 LUT. AbelCine has published some here:
