    Hey all…

Having an issue with PP cs6 continually conforming audio on c300 mxf files. (I did import properly through Media Browser as Canon XF – spanned clips are correctly spanned….)

Problem seems to be with our attached storage (Metasan – 8gb fiber shared storage). Event window logs tons of errors

An unspecified error occurred while performing a conform action

    and

A disk error occurred while attempting to write the following file…

The audio conform files get created – I’ll be able to play a clip, then it “loses” its connection to the conformed audio file. Premiere continually re-tries to conform.

So far – it seems to be just c300 (we are experimenting moving on from FCP and giving Premiere a couple month test)

    Clients are Mac (10.6.8 and 10.7.5) CS6.0.2.

Problem does NOT happen if I recreate the project completely local.

So – is anyone else using c300 footage in a shared environment? How about metasan?

    Thanks in advance!

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

I just came across your post. Hoping things are going more smoothy for you now. Can you please provide a update on the current status of your Premiere/Metasan setup. I also saw in another post that you were losing render files.

If things have improved please share what you did to make it so. If not, I’m hoping we can get you the support you need.

I’ll note new to Premiere Pro CC 7.1 we no longer conform audio from the C300.

    All the best,
